One of our very favourites and a coffee with a conscience. Burundi is one of the poorest states in the world and coffee is leading the way to reducing poverty.

I have had a regular mixed batch of coffee from Pollards for years, This used to be one of my favourites but the roast has gone quite dark with an oily sheen. I have asked about it and any change has been denied. It is sold as medium but I just do not think it is.
I'm normally a big fan of Burundi, however was not expecting the coffee to be Dark Roast - Its usually light/medium. Probably my fault for not fully reading the description

Pollards have a wonderful selection of quality coffee beans.
Personally I love the Burundi and Popayan beans, a lovely combination of caffeinated and decaffeinated.
I would highly recommend Pollards, excellent coffee, and service.
Another great roast from Pollards. This is now my first choice, it is a darker roast than my previous favourite, Mocha, but is still full of flavour without being bitter. Can’t wait for my first of the day but is perfect at any time!
